Historical Costume

This project was inspired by the painting "Savannah Edith, Lady Rowley," which is showcased in the Detroit Institute of Arts Museum. I recreated the garments depicted in the painting based on the fashion of the time period (1785). The first four images illustrate the complete costume, while the remaining images showcase the undergarments. This collection was exhibited at the DIA along with a film featuring the costume.
